COMPONENTS OF THE APPLICATION PROCESS
The STEM Institutes application involves 3 components and is more efficient than ever!
It is designed for parents and students to complete together. Application link is not compatible with iPads or other mobile devices.
1. Student/Parent Form
The Student/Parent form is arranged in three parts and should be completed accordingly.

• Parent Questionnaire
2. Teacher Recommendation Form
(Please provide teacher’s name and email address in the application – link will be emailed to them)
A teacher recommendation form must be completed and submitted by a teacher. This online form will be emailed to the teacher with your student’s name referenced in the email. We encourage parents and/or students to follow up with teachers who are completing recommendations to help expedite your application. Once returned complete, the recommendation will be linked to your student’s application.
3. Adult Recommendation Form
(Please provide non-related adult name and email address in the application – link will be emailed to them)
A recommendation form must be completed and submitted by an adult outside of the student applicant’s family. This online form will be emailed to the non-related adult with your student’s name referenced in the email. We encourage parents and/or students to follow up with adults who are completing recommendations to help expedite your application. Once returned complete, the recommendation will be linked to your student’s application.
Please allow a week once the application is complete (including letters of recommendation) to receive notification from the STEM Institutes. We encourage parents and/or students to follow up with teachers and adults who are completing recommendations to help expedite your application.
Acceptance, Course Selection and Payment
Upon acceptance to the STEM Institutes, notification will be sent to you via email. Access to course selection and the payment portal will be made available at that time.
*Convenience fees will be generated from the credit/debit card processing company when using a credit card to pay. This fee is charged for both online and in-person credit/debit card transactions. Poudre School District uses SchoolPay to process credit card transactions for the STEM Institutes. The convenience fee at Poudre School District for all STEM Institutes credit/debit transactions processed through SchoolPay is 3.35%.
Additional Application Details
*Has your student attended the STEM Institutes in the past? Returning students are not required to provide new recommendations.
*Applying for more than one student in your family? Parents may register multiple children under the same email account.
- Register the first student on the registration site
- On the ‘Home page choose “Add a New Student” this will lead to a new registration linked to the account email.
Once formally accepted, you will be given the opportunity to communicate your student’s pertinent medical needs/conditions.
What’s for lunch?
Jason’s Deli is providing lunch at all locations daily. Gluten free, dairy free and vegetarian options will be available daily. View lunch menu here. We have done our best to help meet food sensitivities but are unable to accommodate special requests. If menu offerings do not meet your student’s concerns please pack a lunch for your student.

You agree that canceling or withdrawing your registration will result in the following:
$35 cancellation fee prior to May 1, 2018
$50 cancellation fee between May 1 – May 14, 2018
Non-Refundable beginning May 15, 2018
